Warm and comfortable

Top-down raglanIt’s fast becoming my favorite comfy sweater. Snow started falling shortly after this picture was taken. I stayed warm and comfortable all day long even when venturing outside.

Redoing the sleeves was a wise decision.

It hasn’t been blocked. Not sure that it really needs to be but I will do it before handing it off to Jean.

  1. Wow! It looks great and is rather flattering. Will you use her formula again? I will, with a few adjustments to the shoulder measurements.
I had the same issue with my sleeves but am too lazy to redo them!
    Great job!

  2. Thank you so much for showing us your sweater! It’s wonderful!
I had been looking at sweater patterns for holiday travel knitting with cables, but your design made me re-consider.
    Thanks.

  3. It does look like a nice, comfy, well-fitting sweater. I like the color as it appears on my monitor – a nice shade of green. Well done (again).

  4. It looks great in both color and fit. I redid the sleeves on mine as well, they were too narrow – I had miscalculated the decreases the first time. I have also been wearing mine – trying not to spill stuff on it before January (G).
I used the same formula to make a child’s and a doll’s sweater. I will use this again for a fast sweater which I don’t have to draft.

  5. Wow! What a success! It looks great on. I didn’t re-do mine, but after washing and blocking it made an amazing transformation. I guess I’ve changed my mind and will probably use the calcs again. Congratulations on being published in the next Spin Off! I need an autographed copy!
