Yep, I didn’t add the bells but I’m considering adding medium size pompoms.
The model was made from a kit that I put together in a Junior High Home Economics class. I can’t believe he’s hung around all these years.

Hi………did you find that the hat came out on the big side? I started this hat in a dk merino, but it looks big enough to fit my 9yr old 😦

I don’t remember it being too large but I wasn’t able to try it on my friend’s baby since he was being too fussy. I don’t have lots of experience with babies but I’ve heard that their heads are proportionally bigger then their bodies. Maybe it looks big but might actually fit.
I followed instructions for the larger sized hat with a gauge of 6 sts to an inch instead of 5.5 sts to an inch. I’m religious about checking my gauge. Did you make a swatch?
